Fear
Many have asked me about this
topic, reason why therefore I dedicate them this article.
There are many questions about
this, even confusion. Questions of the type emerge: “If I believe in these
things why am I afraid of them?” or “I channel since I was small, I see things
that go around there, good things, but even like that I feel afraid of them,
why? …or “I am scared to wake up, to see” … “Fear of the darkness” … or simply
“What is the fear?”
Throughout history, we have
been afraid. We normally know fear, because they inculcate it, because we see
in our fathers or brothers the fear that something represents to them, and that
fear stay ingrained in us. There are many types of fears, from the fears to the
external, to animals, to other people, even emotional fears, like loneliness…
but also abstract fears, like to existence itself, to the future, to the
unknown…
Culturally we have been filled
with fears… fears of punishment, of hell, of the fact that we never know what
could happen to us… they inculcate us to be careful… to be aware. But many
fears are unexplained… fears that might not come from this life…
Once a psychologist from the university
asked me what I was afraid of… and my answer was very unexpected for her: “That
there won’t be gravity” … and she questioned: “What!?” … and I was: “yes that
the chairs will fall upwards…” you can imagine the outcome…
There are thousands of fears,
and many of those are generated in childhood, for the simple reasons that we
are discovering the world. And it’s here where I wanted to get… the fear
emerges in the discovery or the impulse to discover. We could say that fear is
something cultural, that is something illogical… many have told me that fear is
a stone on the way which stops us from evolving, something that must be
eliminated as soon as possible or we will never be able to advance… with
fear, there is no evolution… this sentence is a bit absurd on planet Earth,
although it recovers its logic when one wants to leave this world…
What is fear?
Fear is something very natural…
Fear does not emerge from culture or from being frightened… fear emerges from
our own human genetic… fear is a mechanism of defense. This emotion almost
indomitable, to which we could attribute a big amount of negativities, is in
great part the one that allowed the existence of many animal beings and
therefore, the humans.
The humans could have been extinguished
if it wasn’t because of fear. Fear moves others to look for less murky places,
fear makes our body warn us in moments of danger… Fear saves us in situations
of risk; it tells our body that something could end up wrong. The fear to darkness
emerges from the animals that have stalked us at night thousands of years ago.
Fear to solitude, emerges
because we are social beings and we move in groups, herds…
Alone, we could end up bad…
The fear of not having, of detachment, of the lack of properties
or people, emerges from the subsistence of the body, food and a home that will
take care of us…
The fear of the unknown emerges simply from not understanding… the
fear that protect us in case that something unknown will be negative for us.
Fear is natural, and is ok to be afraid… there is no need to feel
bad, or not evolve, because having fears! We are beings, human beings, for the
only reason of have had fear… it helps us today too…
Makes us not trust, the fear to others… one could say that is horrible
what I am saying, but in a world that should look for trust in oneself, a world
that should practice self-sustainability… is necessary the distrust on a first
level. The human is an animal that learns by making mistakes… many can think
that there is no need to pass through hardships to get to the light… but who
are we to deprive those beings from the election that they have chosen?
In physical life, fear helps us to maintain our way… but we must
have something clear:
So there is no need to eliminate fear?
No, there
is no need to eliminate it… as a good hunter, the human has the mania that when
something does not serve, there is a need to sacrifice it or eat it. There is
no need to eliminate anything! It only has to be controlled.
We are a group of entities that form a complete being… one self.
If we eliminate something, even if it is a fear, then we take out a part of us.
The image that we can give to our body, is that of an enormous
army of knights, directed by a captain (the mind or the spirit)… think now… if
one of the horses is altered and gets out of the way… what does the rider do?
Would the rider sacrifice its horse? What do you believe? The most probable is
that it will control it, tame it, which will redirect it on its way, helping it
go with the others…
The fear is one of those horses… one horse that can save our life,
showing us that the time has not come yet… or warn us of anything that could
harm us… but we should not let that horse alter all the others.
The fear can be tamed
Fear is an unstable horse, but it can be calmed down… there is another horse that can help very much and is Laughter; there is another one, Fun… together with another one very important: Play and Imagination.
We should know that on the
other side, in the world that scares us because we cannot see it, many fear us
even more than we fear them… we must be capable to utilize that what we have,
our light... there is no need to
be afraid of what cannot be understood or seen… since if you are seeing it or
feeling it, is because your body knows that it is the moment, that there is no
need now to have fears… but that horse continues neighing… and its necessary to
calm it down with a great smile! We also shouldn’t be afraid of the future…
since it's created always by us… enjoying the present, we don’t have to be
scared of anything, not to 2012, nor our familiar and professional future…
enjoying… we will make of the future the outcome of the present.
So, dear souls… be afraid in
the right and necessary measure.
